Mumbai, June 21 (Reporter) The equity market was continued to surge as the BSE Sensex on Friday was at a new high at 77588 on the strength of IT, Industrials and Telecommunications stocks. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 19.15 pts at 23,586.51. The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 77,808.45 and 77,488.73 pts respectively. The NSE registered days high and low at 23,667.10 and 23581.90 pts respectively. The Mid cap rose 0.61 pc and Small Cap by 0.71 pc. In 30 scrips, 19 advanced while 11 declined. The gainers were Infosys by 2.68 pc to Rs 1555.85, Tech Mahindra by 2.05 pc to Rs 1421.40, Bharti Airtel by 2.20 pc to Rs 1411.50 and Wipro by 1.74 pc to Rs 499.05. The losers were Tata Steel by 1.40 pc to Rs 179.80, HDFC Bank by 1.07 pc to Rs 1651.15 and Hind Unilever by 1 pc to Rs 2456.95...////...
