Gangtok, July 18 (Reporter) A massive search operation is currently underway to locate 25-year-old Anish Chettri, who has been missing since the night of July 13, 2025. Anish, a resident of Setipool in Pakyong District, is feared to have been swept away by the river near the area during heavy rainfall. The search is being led by SDPO Pakyong, Bikash Peter Rai, and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Pakyong Police Station, Police Inspector Pradeep Chhetri. The operation includes personnel from the Sikkim Police, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), local volunteers, guardians of the missing person, and concerned residents of the locality. Since the report of Anish’s disappearance was received, efforts have been continuing without pause.
