Mumbai, June 27 (Reporter) The Rupee strengthened for the second consecutive day today by 22 paise to close at 85.48 against the US dollar ,on weak dollar demand by bankers and importers, amid easing geopolitical tension ,forex traders said. A positive close in the domestic equity market and easing crude oil prices are also supporting market sentiment, traders added. The currency opened 20 paise higher at 85.50 against the dollar.
