Mumbai, Apr 18 (Reporter) The rupee on Thursday eased nominal by one paisa to close at 83.54 against the USD on rising demand for the US dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the foreign exchange said. A minor fluctuation was seen during the day, as the local unit rose by one paisa at 83.52v in the opening session and closed at 83.54, easing one paisa as compared to its previous figure.
