Mumbai, June 11 (Reporter) The Rupee remained weak for another session on Tuesday as it slipped seven paise to close at 83.58 against USD on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the foreign exchange said.
The local unit that improved 2 paise at 83.49 in opening trade later finished at 83.58, easing seven paise as compared to its previous close.
The domestic unit was seen under pressure due to a strong dollar against other world currencies alongwith weak equity market.
The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 83.47 and 83.60, respectively, the dealer added...////...
