Bengaluru, Oct 7 (Reporter) Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa and Congress MP DK Suresh on Monday separately met state minister Satish Jarkiholi, who asserted that the meetings were not political. "The meetings were not political. There is no need to give it a political colour," he said, dismissing any such speculation. The meetings came amid a Lokayukta case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA scam. Vijayendra stated that his meeting was for "public works in Shikaripura," though he emphasised the BJP's call for Siddaramaiah to "resign and pave the way for a transparent investigation." Suresh similarly said he discussed "public works in Kanakapura," adding that there were no political discussions "to be shared with the media."
