Chandigarh, May 14 (Reporter) Renowned Sikh scholar Ratan Singh Jaggi on Sunday paid rich tributes to his former student eminent poet Surjit Patar, saying his demise last Saturday has created a void in the literary world which would never be filled. In his condolence message to Patar's family, Jaggi described the late poet as a towering litterateur of today's era. "His demise has left a void in the literary realm which can never be filled. His passing away is a big loss for Punjab and the entire country apart from his family. What could be bigger for a teacher to be identified from the achievements of his students".
