Republic Day celebrated with enthusiasm in UP

Lucknow, Jan 26 (Reporter) The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the entire Uttar Pradesh, including the state capital Lucknow, where Governor Anandiben Patel unfurled the national flag at Vidhan Bhawan on Friday. The Governor and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released tricolour balloons in the air. The Governor took the salute of the parade by the Indian Army and various security forces engaged in the defence of the state. The security forces displayed excellence with advanced weapons and equipment, along with their distinctive bands. On this occasion, children from various schools of Lucknow presented colourful cultural programs on tunes like 'Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara' and 'Hey Punyabhoomi Uttar Pradesh'. The motorcycle squad of Women Home Guards also showcased a daring performance. The cavalry contingent and swan contingent of UP Police also took part in the parade. The Fire Brigade and Dial 112 also showcased their capabilities during the parade. Moreover, various departments and social organisations showcased thematic tableaux as part of the Republic Day programme. One particularly captivating display was the tableaux of the Ram Temple presented by the Information and Public Relations Department. Seeing this tableau dedicated to Lord Shri Ram, the parade venue echoed with thunderous applause. Simultaneously, the Election Commission of India showcased a tableau depicting the new Parliament House and an ideal polling place. A tableaux dedicated to the UP Sindhi community was taken out by the Language Department. Similarly, the tableaux 'Udyan bana udyog ka aadhar’ was brought out by the Horticulture and Food Processing Department. Other notable tableaus included those from the Lucknow Development Authority, Raj Bhawan, Agriculture Department, Kashi Tamil Sangamam, Forest and Wildlife Department, UP Sanskrit Sansthan, UP Punjabi Academy, Bharat Scouts Guide, the Health and Family Welfare Department, State Clean Ganga Mission, Urban Development Department, Lucknow Municipal Corporation, CMS School and Jal Jeevan Mission, all of which captivated the audience...////...
