Patna, Apr 19 (Reporter) Senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Saturday alleged rampant corruption under Nitish regime in Bihar, saying the ruling party was trying to arrange election fund from kickbacks being received after awarding huge tenders. Yadav, also the leader of the opposition in the Bihar assembly, told media persons here that in the election year, the government was awarding huge tenders to contractors from outside Bihar and receiving kickbacks from them. The ruling party was trying to arrange election funds from kickbacks received after awarding tenders, he added. " It is well known that Ministers of Nitish Kumar government get 30 percent as commission of the tenders awarded for construction ", RJD leader said adding that Rs 225 crores was allocated for Mahila Samvad and huge corruption was also in this scheme. "Chunav Raths" were being constructed for ruling party by contractors who were awarded tenders, he alleged. " A large number of bridges and culverts are you of no use in Bihar as approach roads have not been constructed for most of them ", Yadav said, adding that at some places in Bihar, approach roads were constructed, but culverts and bridges were not constructed there. Similarly, there was huge corruption in" Har Ghar Nal Yojana " as most of the taps installed in households were dry while people were facing great difficulties in getting drinking water, he further added...////...
