Jaipur, June 11 (Reporter) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, the state government is working towards making Rajasthan a developed state by 2047. Addressing a meeting on the Vision Document for achieving the goals of 'Viksit Rajasthan-2047' on Tuesday evening, Sharma said that a well-planned strategy and its effective implementation are crucial to achieving the desired results. The government is implementing schemes that are transforming the state's education, healthcare, power, water, and infrastructure sectors, he said. He underscored the importance of involving the people in the development process and incorporating their suggestions in the Vision Document. Sharma said that rural development is the backbone of the country's progress and that empowering gram panchayats is essential to achieving this goal. He suggested promoting rural tourism, supporting small and cottage industries, setting up solar plants, fruit and vegetable markets, and dairy collection centers to make panchayats economically self-sufficient. The Chief Minister directed officials to take concrete steps to improve farmers' income and crop productivity, and to promote a cooperative-based economy in the state. He also emphasised the need to develop a system that ensures no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of social schemes. Sharma stressed the importance of providing quality education and healthcare services, promoting skill development, and creating employment opportunities. He also directed officials to expedite the process of maintaining health records through the Aadhaar-based 'Aaba' ID and to focus on improving nutrition for women and children. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of adopting a multi-storeyed concept to address housing issues in urban areas and developing pollution-free public transport services. He also stressed the need to reduce accidents by enforcing traffic rules and promoting tree plantation along highways and roads. Sharma mentioned the ongoing 'Vande Ganga' water conservation campaign and the 'Karmbhoomi se Matribhoomi' campaign, which aims to build over 40,000 water conservation structures in the state.
