Chandigarh, Mar 2 (Reporter) An estimated 54.06 percent, 73.50 percent and 61.31 percent voter turnout was recorded in elections to three Municipal Councils of Tarn Taran (District Tarn Taran), Dera Baba Nanak (Gurdaspur) and Talwara (Hoshiarpur), respectively, on Sunday, as reported by respective District Election Officers. An official spokesperson of the Punjab State Election Commission (SEC) informed that the elections to three Municipal Councils of Tarn Taran, Dera Baba Nanak and Talwara were conducted in a peaceful manner.He further informed that a re-poll for Ward No 3 of Municipal Council, Tarn Taran, will be held on March four from 7 am to 4 pm, followed by counting of votes on the same day.
