Punjab: Four teenage boys drown in river Bear during Baisakhi celebration, two die

Kapurthala, Apr 13 (Reporter) Two teenage boys died after they drowned in river Beas in Punjab while swimming to celebrate Baisakhi in Kapurthala district on Sunday. Two other teenagers, who also drowned, were missing. The two deceased were taken by divers and an NDRF team. to Kapurthala Civil Hospital where doctors declared them dead. The deceased have been identified as Arshdeep Singh and Jaspal Singh, both aged 17 years, and hailing from village Peerwall in Kapurthala district.
