Punjab: Five passengers die after a bus falls into a drain

Bathinda, Dec 27 (Reporter) More than 5 passengers were killed and several injured, most of them critically when a private passenger bus suddenly went out of control and fell into a drain near Jeevan Singh Wala in Bathinda district on Friday. Police said the people present nearby immediately started removing the passengers from the bus. Many passengers are said to be very critical. They are being admitted to the Hospital for treatment. The police and NDRF teams are engaged in rescue work. Jagroop Singh Gill, MLA met the injured in the Hospital.
