Amritsar, Dec 5 (Reporter) Counter Intelligence (CI) in Amritsar has apprehended three individuals near Punjabi Bagh Resort, Attari Road, in a significant move against drug trafficking. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Thursday that the operation led to the recovery of 5 Kg of heroin and Rs 4.45 lakh in drug money. Strict action is being taken to uncover the entire networks involved in this illegal trade. He also said that the Punjab police is committed to dismantle the drug networks and make our state drug-free.
