Chandigarh, Jul 22 (Reporter) An Independent candidate has challenged Punjab's Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh's election alleging he had concealed information while filing affidavits. Controversial preacher Amritpal Singh won the election as an independent candidate while being in Assam's Dibrugarh jail where he has been lodged since last year under the National Security Act for an alleged attack on Ajnala police station. Independent candidate Vikramjeet Singh, in his petition filed before th Punjab and Haryana High Court, has alleged that Amritpal Singh has not provided the details of expenditure. The petitioner also alleged that religious places were used during Amritpal's campaign and his social media campaign was conducted without the necessary permissions...////...
