Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya envisioned the philosophy of Integral Humanism with the aim of bringing happiness to the life of the last person in the queue. ‘Swadeshi’ and self-reliance have always been the foundation of our culture and village systems, and the spirit of self-dependence formed the basis of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s thoughts. He further stated that the ideas of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and Mahatma Gandhi had significant similarities.
CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the gathering after offering floral tributes at the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his 109th birth anniversary at Lalghati. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also planted a Sindoor tree sapling under the “One Tree in the Name of Mother” campaign. The Chief Minister said that the thoughts of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya serve as a guiding principle for the state government. CM Dr.Yadav said “We are making every possible effort to bring change in the lives of the poorest of the poor in the state”. Referring to national reforms, CM Dr. Yadav stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a major gift to the citizens through GST reforms, which will also encourage small traders and artisans.
CM Dr. Yadav urged citizens to adopt ‘Swadeshi’ for the betterment of the rural economy, farmers, artisans, and small traders across the country. He underlined that the strength of India’s grassroots lies in promoting indigenous products and self-reliance.
