Srinagar, Sep 28 (Reporter) Kashmir witnessed widespread protests Saturday evening against the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon. Officials said the protests, shouting anti-Israel and anti-US slogans, erupted in several parts of Srinagar, Budgam, Bandipora and Baramulla district. “The protests remained peaceful,” they said. The series of protests led to massive traffic jams along the Srinagar Baramulla highway and some parts of Srinagar city. National Conference leader and Lok Sabha Member Parliament Aga Ruhullah, suspended his campaign for the third and final phase of assembly elections. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti also suspended her election campaign. "Cancelling my campaign tomorrow in solidarity with the martyrs of Lebanon & Gaza especially Hassan Nasarullah.
