Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed the officers of the MSME Department to actively promote the developed industrial areas of the Indore and Bhopal metropolitan regions, so that maximum industrial units are established, resulting in substantial investment and large-scale employment generation. He instructed that, at the conclusion of the Industry Year, a grand program for the foundation laying, industrial plot allotment and inauguration of units amounting to nearly ₹2 lakh crore should be organised in Gwalior by the end of this month. Expressing satisfaction over the tremendous 31% growth in MSME registrations. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav described this as an example of the excellent environment created by the State Government for small industries over the past two years. He directed that food parks, along with other rural and cottage industries, be linked to the MSME sector. The Chief Minister reviewed the work of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department for the last two years in Khajuraho on Monday. MSME Minister Shri Chetan Kumar Kashyap, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister's Office Shri Neeraj Mandloi and other senior officials were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh has achieved historic progress in the MSME and start-up sectors over the past two years. Several lakh crore worth of investment has come to the state during this period, and foundation laying and inauguration of new industrial units have taken place. MSME units have been provided with an incentive amount of Rs 2,780 crore. The Chief Minister described the complete payment of pending incentive amounts for enterprises since 2019 as historic. He stated that, at the conclusion of the Industry Year, it is the responsibility of the department to facilitate on-site inspections of these achievements for public representatives from both the ruling and opposition parties, as well as the media, so that the work accomplished in investment and employment generation is publicised across the country. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the State Development Authorities to ensure cost efficiency in the development of Flatted Industrial Parks in major cities, including Bhopal. A detailed discussion was held on the expansion of the MSME and start-up ecosystem, the development of industrial infrastructure, and future action plans.
