Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, distributed the 21st instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers across the country on Wednesday. Under this instalment, ₹18,000 crore was transferred directly into the accounts of eligible farmers.
During his visit to Satna district on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the national event of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi at the Barkonia temple premises in Nagod. He watched the live broadcast of the program and listened to Prime Minister Shri Modi’s address to the farmers. It is noteworthy that, under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, more than ₹3.90 lakh crore has been transferred to farmers’ accounts so far.
The event was also attended by Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri, Khajuraho MP Shri V.D. Sharma, former Minister of State Shri Ramkhelawan Patel and Chairperson of the Nagar Panchayat, Smt. Pratibha Singh.
