Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s sporting achievements twice during his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address. He congratulated the state for winning the maximum number of medals in the country’s first Khelo India Water Sports Festival. PM Shri Modi also mentioned the growing craze for football in Shahdol district and the keen interest of a German coach in providing training to local players. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav listened to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program in Piparseva village of Morena district. Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and local residents were also present.
