PM shows special interest in Haryana Government's scheme for Agniveers

Chandigarh, July 19 (Reporter) Prime Minister, Narendra Modi met Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini at his residence in Delhi on Friday to discuss the schemes being implemented in the state. The Prime Minister had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister about the 'Agniveers' and the welfare schemes run by both the state and central governments. After meeting the PM, Saini interacted with the journalists at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi. He stated that significant benefits have been decided for Haryana's Agniveer by the state government. These include a 10 percent horizontal reservation in government job recruitment, age relaxation of 5 and 3 years as per rules, and interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh for employment. He said the PM is focused on the Agniveer scheme. If any industry in Haryana hires an Agniveer, the state will give that institution a rebate of Rs 60,000. The PM carefully listened about the scheme run by the state government for the welfare of Agniveers. He emphasised that poor people need not worry. The PM is meticulously gathering feedback on each scheme to ensure benefits reach the last person. He also said the PM has taken detailed information about the schemes being run in Haryana and also got feedback on the implementation of the central government's schemes as well.
