Srinagar, Oct 26 (Reporter) Days after reviewing the poll debacle, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dissolved the full structure of the party with immediate effect. A statement by the PDP said the decision to dissolve the party structure was taken by party president Mehbooba Mufti. The party said that new office bearers, different wings and bodies will be framed after consultation with party senior leaders in near future. The PDP was virtually routed in the recent Assembly election and won only three seats. This was the worst electoral result of the PDP since its formation 25 years back in 1999. In the 2014 Assembly election the PDP had bagged 28 seats and emerged as the single largest party.
