Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has said that a target has been set to make India number one in every sector by 2047. This requires a strong foundation of education. In this direction, a new education policy was designed in 2020. Policy was based on quality encompassing out-of-the-box thinking deviating from orthodox ways. It is a matter of pride that this policy was implemented first in Madhya Pradesh. This will enable the students compete with the students of the world in the next 25 years. It is also a matter of pride that Madhya Pradesh has provided the students with opportunities to study engineering and medical education in their mother tongue. The objective is to provide equal opportunities to all sections of people. He said that he had acquainted himself about the status of Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence. He expressed hope that the Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence will bring glory to Madhya Pradesh as a well-reputed institution of quality higher education.
