Mumbai Mar 7 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday urged the opposition to join the development journey without bringing politics into the affairs of the people Responding to the discussion on the Governor's address in the Legislative Council, Shinde said the government wanted to develop the state at double the speed. "We want to provide welfare to the people of the state. The opposition should desist from bringing politics into the affairs of the people and join the development journey. "During the last two and a half years of the Mahayuti, we have done such historic development works and implemented welfare schemes.
