Off duty soldier injured in militant attack in J&K Awantipora

Srinagar, Dec 4 (Reporter) An off duty Territorial Army soldier was injured in a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir Awantipora sub-district on Wednesday evening, officials said. They said the soldier, posted in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, was shot near his home in the Aripal area of Tral. The soldier was on leave. “The soldier was shifted to a medical facility where his condition is stated to be stable,” they said. Soon after the incident, a search operation was launched by the joint forces in the area to trace the attacker. There is no word from police or Army about the incident so far...////...
