Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in the land of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna, there is no shortage of wealth for farmers to celebrate Diwali. The state government stands firmly with farmers in every crisis. On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, Rajgarh district has received development projects worth about ₹500 crore, a major milestone for the region. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing a Kisan Sammelan in Biaora, Rajgarh district, on Saturday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred ₹277 crore in relief assistance directly into the accounts of farmers affected by natural calamities in the district. He also performed Bhoomi Poojan and inaugurated projects worth ₹226.81 crore, including the ₹33 crore Biaora Urban Water Supply Scheme and 41 other development works worth ₹193 crore.
CM Dr. Yadav said that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guidance, the nation is progressing in every field. Rajgarh has been transformed through the Aspirational District Initiative. Since the formation of the present government, the region has witnessed rapid development. He said, “It was once difficult to imagine irrigation and proper farming here, but now every field has access to sufficient water.” CM Dr. Yadav said that when dry fields get timely irrigation, crops turn to gold.
