Patna, Jan 5 (Reporter) Hours after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar rejected the offer of Lalu Prasad Yadav to join Grand Alliance, senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday denied any such offer to him, saying Kumar was tired and not in a position to take decision on his own.
Yadav told media persons that there was no offer from RJD to Nitish to join Grand Alliance again. Nitish was now a tired person and running his government with assistance from retired officials, he pointed out.
RJD leader said it was most unfortunate that Chief Minister Kumar had given a political statement through a press release. It was perhaps for the first time that such things were happening in Bihar, he noted.
Yadav said that four to five leaders of JD(U) had made Nitish their captive and were not allowing him to work freely. He suggested media persons not make much hue and cry over the possibility of Nitish returning to NDA again.
Tejashwi while responding to a query from media persons regarding an offer made by Lalu to Nitish to join Grand Alliance again, said his statement was aimed at cooling down the heat generated by media on the issue. Nitish was a tired person he should not be unnecessarily harassed by creating such a situation as being created by the media, he felt...////...
