Nitish requests agitating Oppn MLAs with folded hands to resume their seats

Patna, Mar 6 (Reporter) In an unusual gesture, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, with his folded hands requested the opposition MLAs who were creating noise from the well of the house to resume their seats during the pre lunch sitting of the state assembly on Friday. As soon as the house assembled for the day and the speaker Nand Kishor Yadav took up the question hour proceedings, the CPIML members including Mehboob Alam and Satyadev Ram raised the issues of violence against women. Waving placards and posters they trooped to the well and created a ruckus. The speaker repeatedly requested the members to resume their seats and continued the question hour proceedings amid ruckus. Intervening in the situation, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that whenever any incident takes place either within the state or outside the state, he immediately asks his officers to look into the matter and directs them to take immediate action. He said there is no need to create pandemonium on such issues. Kumar with his folded hands, requested members to resume their seats.
