Pune, Feb 19 (Reporter) Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at a few places over west Rajasthan; at isolated places over Gujarat state; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at a few places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and near normal over rest parts of the country. On Wednesday, the lowest minimum temperature of 7.8°C was reported at Pathankot (Punjab) over the plains of the country. Dense to very dense fog conditions were reported in isolated pockets of Gangetic West Bengal. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, west Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
