Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there is a need for every possible effort to make Bhopal slum-free. He stated that buildings should be constructed first before vacating the slums to ensure minimal disruption for residents. Dr. Yadav also stressed the importance of coordinating with public representatives for this crucial task. He directed that work should commence on making the city slum-free, with tenders finalized by October. Additionally, he instructed officials to complete the ongoing road projects within the set timeframes, ensuring the timely passing of awards after the tender process. During a review meeting on saturday at Samatva Bhawan, his official residence, Dr. Yadav assessed the city’s development projects and sought updates on the preparations for slum-free initiatives. The Collector of Bhopal provided a presentation outlining the development works.
