NC announces Omar Abdullah as party candidate from Baramulla seat, Aga Ruhullah from Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 12 (Reporter) National Conference (NC) on Friday announced candidates from two constituencies from Kashmir, with party vice president Omar Abdullah contesting from Baramulla Lok Sabha seat. The party also announced influential Shia leader Aga Ruhullah as the party candidate from Srinagar. The announcement of candidates was made by party president Farooq Abdullah in Srinagar. Congress and NC announced their alliance for the Lok Sabha polls in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, with each candidate fielding three seats. As per the seat sharing arrangement, the Congress would contest in Udhampur, Jammu, and Ladakh Lok Sabha seats, and the National Conference would field candidates in Anantnag, Srinagar, and Baramulla.
