Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is one of the most favorable states in the country for industrial investment, owing to its central location, skilled labor force, cooperative citizens, robust road and transport infrastructure, and simplified administrative procedures. “Gujarat is our model, and Madhya Pradesh is progressing in industrial development on similar lines,” he said.

Citing a recent example, Dr. Yadav mentioned swift government action following Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML)'s initiative to set up a metro and rail coach manufacturing unit in Raisen district. The government promptly allocated 60.063 hectares of land, reflecting the state’s transparent policy on industry promotion and investment facilitation. He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is part of the healthy competition encouraged by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to create an industry-friendly environment. “Prime Minister Modi has recently set an example of strong leadership by delivering a fitting response to Pakistan,” Dr. Yadav said while addressing a textile expo in Indore on Friday evening.

Dr. Yadav further said that Prime Minister Modi's policies have transformed the national landscape. While pursuing economic growth, Indian culture continues to value humanity. “During the COVID-19 crisis, India played a pivotal role in saving lives across the globe,” he noted. He added that Operation Sindoor demonstrated India’s unity, technological strength, and military courage under PM Modi's leadership.

Drawing a powerful analogy, the Chief Minister said, “Factories are our temples. Just as places of worship are centers of devotion, industries too operate with a sacred intent of benefiting large sections of society.” Madhya Pradesh is running a special campaign to ensure industries benefit from the government's favorable policies and good governance. “Those who come to invest here, make Madhya Pradesh their home,” he remarked.

Dr. Yadav highlighted successful initiatives such as the Regional Industry Conclaves held in all divisions last year, followed by the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal in February 2025. These efforts have attracted investment proposals worth over ₹30 lakh crore. Sector-wise industrial promotion programs are now being prioritized and will continue in a phased manner.

He said that Indore, known for its cleanliness, taste, and good governance, will play a leading role in creating a new legacy in the textile sector. The Indore Metropolitan Area, encompassing Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and Maksi, will be developed with improved infrastructure and enhanced citizen services. Indore will emerge as one of the two major metropolitan growth centers in Madhya Pradesh.
