Lucknow, July 11 (Reporter) To ensure that Maha Kumbh is a majestic event that offers an enriching spiritual experience, the Maha Kumbh Mela Authority has invited government and non-governmental organisations to take part in the mega event by making CSR contributions, official sources said here on Thursday.
Sources said that the Yogi government has allocated a budget of Rs 2600 crore for the entire event, and at the same time, has sought CSR funds from organisations for enhancing arrangements and amenities at the Maha Kumbh Mela.
It may e noted that the Mela Authority is meticulously preparing for Maha Kumbh next year to enhance the experiences of devotees, pilgrims, tourists, representatives of religious and voluntary organisations, as well as saints who would be coming to the event from across the globe.
Participating organisations will have the opportunity to serve crores of devotees through their CSR funds and contribute to making this monumental event a global benchmark, aligning with government efforts to elevate its stature on the world stage.
The government and non-government organisations can participate in Maha Kumbh by contributing to technology, health facilities, water, sanitation and hygiene, sustainability, safety and security, culture and heritage, infrastructure enhancement, diversity and inclusion initiatives and mobility.
Participating in this grand event provides organisations with a platform to showcase their services and products to a global audience. Their contributions can significantly enrich the experience of millions of devotees, earning them people's appreciation and support.
This engagement also fosters strong community bonds and enhances organisational visibility.
Along with the Mela Authority, these organisations can contribute to making the Maha Kumbh Mela accessible to everyone. They will play a vital role in improving the devotees' experience and ensuring the event is fulfilling from a spiritual perspective.

The Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj will be held from January 13 , to February 25. The fair area, spread over 40,000 hectares, is divided into 25 sectors. Each sector will have essential facilities related to health, cleanliness, and security, along with camps, offices and community areas.
The Yogi government is striving to make this event safe, accident-free and memorable. Prayagraj is being developed as a benchmark smart city. Efforts are being made to enhance the experience of devotees by using technology alongside tradition. Dedicated facilities are being set up for citizens in Prayagraj and the fair area.
A total of 1.6 lakh tents are being set up, while a parking area is being created over 1,800 hectares. Ghats stretching 12 km are being equipped with facilities for devotees. The Mela Authority is expanding its capacity to be able to accommodate an estimated 40 crore devotees.
It is also estimated that around 6 crore devotees may attend the Maha Kumbh during the Mauni Amavasya from January 27 to January 30...////...
