Manipur: Three held in drug case within 48 hrs

Imphal, May 27 (Reporter) Three persons were apprehended with drugs in two separate operations during the last 48 hours. Police said on Tuesday that two persons were detained between Haichin village (Myanmar) and Suangdoh village (India) under Singngat-PS for smuggling. Police identified the two as Nangkhauthiu (of Sehjang Village, Churachandpur District) and Tuangpu Guite (41) of Gaugpimual village, Churachandpur District. A sum of Rs 11730600 was seized from their possession. Manipur Police also arrested a woman identified as Najima of Kwakta Ward No. 6, Bishnupur District, from Nachou Panthong under Bishnupur-PS, Bishnupur District.
