Motihari, Mar 10 (Reporter) A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bihar's East Champaran district, police said. Police sources said on Monday that on Sunday night, people were celebrating Team India's Champions Trophy win. There were fireworks all around in this joy. Amid the sound of firecrackers, criminals shot and injured Sheikh Nurain (52), a resident of Ramgarhwa in Aryanagar of Bairia panchayat. He was returning home after offering namaz. Sources said that soon after the incident, when people saw Nurain lying on the roadside, they immediately rushed him to a private hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.
