Chandigarh, Sep 13 (Reporter) The main accused in the Chandigarh grenade blast in Sector 10 on September 11 was arrested in a joint operation with a central agency, Punjab Police said on Friday. Rohan Masih, resident of village Passia, Police Station Ramdass, Amritsar Rural, was arrested and a pistol was recovered from him, police said, adding that he had admitted his role in the blast. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said on X (Twitter) that one 9MM Glock pistol along with ammunition were recovered from the accused. He said that the further investigation to unravel the entire conspiracy is being done jointly in coordination with the Chandigarh police. He also said that the accused is in custody of State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Amritsar.
