Sangli, Mar 3 (Reporter) Two teenagers were killed after a speeding truck collided head-on with their motorcycle near Jat tehsil town on Sangola highway in the district on Monday morning. The duo was on way to Shegaon near Jat (about four km from Jat) on a motorcycle, when a truck coming at speed from opposite direction collided head-on with their motorbike, police said. The impact of collision was so severe that pillion rider was killed on the spot while the motorbike rider was seriously injured. He was rushed to Jat rural hospital but was declared brought dead. The deceased were identified as Devdatta Dilip Shinde (20) and Yashraj Nana Shinde (15), both of Shegaon in Jat tehsil of the district. After the incident, the driver of the truck fled from the spot.
