Mumbai, Sep 10 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday denied media reports that he had a separate meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss sharing of seats for upcoming Maharashtra Assembly election. Speaking with media here, the NCP (AP) chief said that he met Shah and discussed various persisting issues related to farmers in Maharashtra. "I met HM Amit Shah because he had come to Mumbai for Ganpati Darshan. I discussed some farming issues related to cotton and soybean. I have also requested not to ban the import of onions. We need to see how onion farmers get a good price for their produce," Pawar said. Notably, during Shah's visit in Mumbai on Monday, questions on discord between Mahayuti leaders were raised as DyCM Pawar did not accompany Shah during his Ganpati darshan in Mumbai.
