Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has significantly advanced the tourism sector, and Madhya Pradesh is keeping pace under his leadership. Policies have been outlined to promote tourism in the state. The Travel Mart will serve as an effective medium for tourism development and will be organized annually.
Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the three-day Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart. He informed that investment proposals totaling ₹3,665 crore have been received on the first day itself. He emphasized that the Travel Mart showcases the unique aspects of Madhya Pradesh tourism to the world. The participation of 27 countries has elevated the event to global stature. He expressed confidence that tourism will bring development to every corner of the state.
Dr. Yadav highlighted the launch of the Regional Industry Conclave series in Madhya Pradesh, which evolved into sector-wise events across all divisions. In just one year, the Dr. Wakankar Wildlife Sanctuary and Madhav National Park were launched. He mentioned monuments in Mandu symbolizing the love of Rani Roopmati and Baz Bahadur, and the vibrant statues of numerus deities in Ujjain, alongside world heritage sites like Bhimbetka, Sanchi, and Khajuraho.
