A 38-member delegation of officials led by Shri Vinod Bihari Singh, Under Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at the Mantralaya on Tuesday. The delegation comprised Under Secretaries serving in various ministries of the Government of India. After completing this mid-career training course, they will be promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary and posted in different ministries.

During their three-day visit to Madhya Pradesh, the officials also toured the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sanchi (Raisen district) and the hill station Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram district). They expressed admiration for the state’s natural beauty and rich historical heritage.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the delegation, noting that Madhya Pradesh, the ‘Heart of India,’ is driving multidimensional development through innovations. He highlighted the state’s initiatives in the health sector, noting that, along with Ayushman cardholders, other citizens are also provided with life-saving air ambulance services in emergencies. The establishment of new medical colleges is being pursued continuously.

CM Dr. Yadav informed the officials about the innovative PPP model under which district hospitals are being upgraded into medical colleges with necessary facilities. He explained that under this model, 25 acres of land is allotted for just one rupee, doctors and paramedical staff are provided, and the management of medical colleges is arranged through the fees collected. This initiative, he said, will benefit citizens on a large scale.
