Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar Seated in a Palaki and Shri Manmahesh On An Elephant Set Out On a City Procession in Ujjain To Bless Devotees

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the second traditional procession of Lord Mahakal during the holy month of Shravan on Monday. Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar appeared in a palki as Shri Chandramouleshwar and as Shri Manmahesh seated on an elephant, setting out on a city tour to bless devotees and inquire about the well-being of his people. The Chief Minister performed rituals and worshipped the palaki in the Sabha Mandap before the procession. The deity was worshipped with full Vedic rituals (Shodashopachar), followed by Aarti.

The grand procession of Lord Mahakal featured tribal dance performances by 8 tribal troupes, initiated by the Chief Minister. CM Dr. Yadav walked barefoot throughout the procession route, engaging in devotional singing and worship of Baba Mahakal. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Urban Development Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister-in-Charge Shri Gautam Tetwal, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal and Shri Sanjay Agrawal also joined the Prayers and Aarti.
