Construction of New MLA Rest House Reflects a Forward-Looking Vision Rooted in Modern Processes: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Indian culture values the tradition of “Simhavalokan” — reflecting on past experiences to guide future action. The construction of the new MLA Rest House, aligned with present-day requirements and modern methodologies, reflects a forward-looking and progressive vision. This state-of-the-art facility, incorporating the latest advancements in construction and architecture, will provide MLAs with an enhanced environment to serve the public more effectively.

The state government has also allocated Rs. 5 lakh per MLA in the budget for the modernisation of their offices. CM Dr. Yadav announced the approval of the second phase of the new MLA Rest House during his address at the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony.

CM Dr. Yadav was the chief guest, while Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar chaired the event, held at the MLA Rest House campus. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh were also present on the occasion.

The new complex, to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 160 crore, will include 102 flats equipped with all essential facilities. After performing the Bhoomi Pujan, CM Dr. Yadav unveiled the foundation plaque and paid floral tribute to images of Lord Shri Ram and Bharat Mata. The event commenced with the traditional Deep Prajjwalan (lamp lighting) and the rendition of Vande Mataram.
