Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has emphasised that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is steadfastly committed to the welfare of the poor, youth, farmers and women of the state. Villages are being linked to development and self-reliance for overall prosperity. Gaupalan is being promoted to increase farmers’ incomes, and several farmer-friendly decisions have been taken, including ongoing benefit payments under the Bhavantar Scheme. Ensuring water reaches every village and field is a core commitment of the government.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that, as part of the ‘Jal Ganga Samvardhan’ Campaign, extensive efforts have been made to preserve water sources statewide. The government is working towards developing a model ‘Vrindavan Village’ in every gram panchayat. Kagpur village in Shamshabad stands as a model of progress achieved through public cooperation. The village has now received a new weekly haat bazaar with 128 shops, which will serve as a major trading hub for surrounding communities. The Chief Minister also declared the establishment of a water park under the MP Tourism Board at Kaghpur and addressed a public gathering in Vidisha district’s Kaghpur. Extensive work is being done for water conservation and resource development; the Ken-Betwa project will meet all irrigation needs in Vidisha. All arrangements (paved roads, cremation grounds, etc.) will be completed in every gram panchayat by 2026, leaving no aspect of development incomplete.
