Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is striving for economic progress of women ensuring social harmony and empowerment for all. As a result, various schemes and programmes are being operated for farmers, youth, welfare of the poor, and women empowerment as envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In our culture, the feeling of motherhood for the country is inbuilt. We are always ready to make supreme sacrifice for Bharat Mata. Today’s Matrushakti Conference is an expression of reverence, affection, love, and respect for mothers and sisters as per Sanatan Dharma. India’s family or household tradition enriches and strengthens our culture. The foundation of family tradition is matrushakti. Daughters bring honour to families. As a result of this respect towards sisters and daughters, the “Ladli Bahna Yojana” has been launched in the state. In the month of Sawan, an additional Rs 250 will be sent along with Rs 1250 into Ladli Bahnas' accounts. This is a respect and affection of our government towards sisters and daughters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the matrashakti conference organized under Matrushakti Utsav held in Singhpur of Satna district on Saturday.
