Jammu, Mar 5 (Reporter) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday booked one Over Ground Worker (OGW) under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Ramban district. A Police spokesman said that a strong action has been taken against an OGW namely Manzoor Ahmed alias Furqan, a resident of Dalwah, Gool Tehsil in Ramban district under the Public Safety Act (PSA). He was involved in anti-national and anti-social activities in Gool and surrounding areas, he said. The spokesman added that the necessary sanction was obtained under Section 8 of the PSA 1978. The arrested OGW was absconding and evading his arrest and avoiding the execution of PSA warrant, said the spokesman, adding that a special police team was constituted and the team by making the best possible efforts executed the PSA Warrant and lodged him in District Jail Jammu.
