Srinagar, July 1 (Reporter) The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Farooq Abdullah, will preside over a two-day working committee meeting at the party headquarters, on July 4 and 5. A party spokesman said the meeting will address a variety of issues affecting both the public and the party, with a special focus on preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. The party's General Secretary, Ali Muhammad Sagar, has issued a directive to all invitees to ensure their presence at the meeting venue. Meanwhile, the NC has constituted a manifesto Committee for upcoming assembly elections which will be led by senior party member and former Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather. Following approval from the appropriate authority, party general secretary during the day issued an official order regarding the formation of the committee. The committee has been tasked with presenting a draft of the manifesto within 45 days, the party spokesman said.
