Srinagar, Aug 24 (Reporter) An unidentified militant was killed and a soldier was injured during a brief encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore sub district on Saturday, police said. They said the alert security forces at Watergam point in Rafiabad sensed suspicious movement nearby and on being challenged, the terrorists fired at the forces and it was responded. “The area was immediately cordoned and searched. Later during the search, the body of the terrorist along with arms ammunition was retrieved. The identity of the terrorist is being established,” a senior police officer said.
