Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has emphasized the need for the swift completion of all infrastructure projects related to Simhastha 2028. He directed that every task should have a defined timeline and activities must proceed accordingly. All office-level processes should be completed before the onset of the monsoon so that construction can begin immediately afterward. If there is a shortage of technical officers or staff in Ujjain Municipal Corporation, the Development Authority, or other construction agencies, it should be resolved through deputation from other departments.

Dr. Yadav highlighted that a large number of devotees are expected to travel by rail, with Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, and the Pashupatinath Temple in Mandsaur serving as major centers of pilgrimage. Therefore, in addition to road connectivity, efficient coordination with the Railways is essential to ensure smooth rail traffic and comfortable travel for pilgrims.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the third meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Simhastha 2028, held at the Mantralaya under his chairmanship. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Deora, Shri Rajendra Shukla, Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput were present at the meeting.
