Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, addressing Cabinet prior to the Cabinet meeting at Mantralaya today talked about major developments referring to Bhavantar Yojana discussed in the Collector-Commissioner Conference, the announcement of rail projects and incentives distributed at the Entrepreneurs’ Conference held in Bhopal on October 13 by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed the upcoming festivals of Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Madhya Pradesh State Foundation Day. He said that the MP State Foundation Day will have the theme 'Year of Industry and Employment'. He said that programs on the theme would be held in all assembly constituencies on the topic of 'Self-reliant India – Self-reliant Madhya Pradesh'. These activities should involve everyone from industry developers to job seekers.
Referring to upcoming festivals, CM Dr. Yadav noted that Diwali will be celebrated on October 20 and Govardhan Puja on October 21. He urged ministers to organize public Govardhan Puja celebrations in their respective areas, following local traditions.
CM Dr. Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day falls on November 1 and December 25 marks the centenary year of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A series of events dedicated to the theme of 'Year of Industry and Employment' from November 1 to December 25 will be held. Activities will focus on industry, skill development, employment opportunities, MSMEs, heavy industries, cottage industries, and self-reliance. These events should be celebrated as a state festival across all districts.
