Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new India is achieving remarkable economic milestones. Amidst global economic wars, India has sounded the bugle for Swadeshi. Prime Minister Modi has empowered citizens, businessmen, and entrepreneurs with Swadeshi as a powerful tool in this economic battle. Prioritizing Swadeshi across all sectors, India is advancing on the path of development rooted in Sanatan culture and heritage. The Madhya Pradesh government has transformed Prime Minister Modi’s vision into a mission.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, clarifying, said that ‘Swadeshi’ does not mean isolating ourselves from the world. It signifies that we should refrain from importing goods that can be produced within our own country and should promote the use of indigenous products. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ‘Swadeshi Fair’ organised by the ‘Swadeshi Jagran Manch’ at the Motilal Vigyan Adarsh Mahavidyalaya campus by lighting the ceremonial lamp on Friday. He also unveiled a statue of Lord Shri Ram at the fair, accompanied by a devotional performance, and was warmly received with a shawl and a replica of the BrahMos missile. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited various stalls set up by small entrepreneurs and learned about the Swadeshi products on display.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that Swadeshi played a crucial role in India’s freedom movement. Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Dayanand, Lala Lajpat Rai, and Bal Gangadhar Tilak called on citizens to fight for independence by boycotting foreign goods and adopting Swadeshi. The strength of Swadeshi ignited the ‘Bang-Bhang’ movement in protest of Bengal’s partition, forcing the British to relent. Today, some world leaders threaten with tariffs, but Prime Minister Modi’s resolve is unwavering. India will not bow before anyone. Through the Swadeshi BrahMos missile, India has outwitted its hostile neighboring countries.
